Pictured and described below are some former members of our Kennel.  These retired dog's have been placed in good homes, and are enjoying the relaxing times of their retirement.

Star (retired) is just over 2 years old in this photo.  She has beautiful markings in the traditional "saddle" of Wire Fox Terriers.  She, like Libby, also loves to have her back scratched and get her cookies.  She enjoys spending time with us in the back yard.  My grandchildren are often an object of her affections.  She loves to run and help them play hide-and-seek. Sometimes, they find it hard to "hide" when she is helping.

Smidge (retired).  In this picture, she had been shaved and her pregnancy was showing ;)  She was due in just a few days at the time of the photo.

Libby (retired) is the oldest of our dogs and currently is the queen as we are keeping her in the house.  She alerts us whenever someone comes into the driveway by running to the door and is the first to greet new guests.  She loves to have her back scratched and sit with Ken in the Lazy-Boy while he watches the news.  She likes to play with her little teddy bear and she treats it like she thinks it's her puppy.  Libby is a big fan of dog biscuits, a.k.a., "cookies," and can hear the cookie jar rattle from nearly a mile away.

Maggie (retired) is Star's sister. Her saddle is more like a blanket as it covers most of her back. She has a mellow personality, though she too can appreciate a good back-scratching. She practically insists on it each time we greet her.  She loves to play with the grandkids in the back yard. My grandson, Logan, has to work really hard to get to the ball before Maggie.
